About the Journal

The Texas Tech University School of Law is proud to announce the inception of a new scholarly journal, the Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal. It is the only student managed journal of its kind in the nation. The Journal's inaugural publication will be in the fall of 2008, with an additional volume released in the spring of 2009. Each volume will feature scholarly articles on estate planning and community property law.

The faculty advisors are Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law Gerry W. Beyer and Professor Michael Hatfield. The Journal is managed by a student Founding Board.
